This session is going to be intermediate/advanced if you use weights throughout and of course depending on the weights you choose to use. Here, I combine weights with yoga to enhance strength while emphasizing body awareness and control. I encourage you to use lighter weights or none at all, at any stage, focusing on alignment throughout various poses. Using weights will increase muscle mass – I am constantly looking for ways to do this, so why not add it to my yoga practice every now and then? Going through peri-menopause, this is vital and will ensure longevity!
